Blinx is a fun Microsoft Xbox exclusive that topples any PS2 3D platformer post Jak and Daxter

Blinx is about a kitty cat and his gang of time sweepers that can manipulate time and space from the evil Tom Tom gang lead by Benito (no not that one).

Play as Blinx, collect different time items and use them to pause, fast or slow down time and space. The gameplay is that of Nights into Dreams. The movement set isn't very good but the arcade like gameplay of getting enough stuff and gold to buy at the end of the stage is the core and fun. The bosses can be a chore but be clever and they will parish in seconds.

The graphics are some of the best on Xbox featuring colorful bump mapped levels brimming with life and detail. Blinx himself is cute. The framerates however are not. I got so many hiccups on my Xbox 360 and slow down. Such a fine sacrifice for good looks.

And the music is fun. Jazzy tunes about. When Blinx clings to the wall with his claws, he will slide down and go Meow!

Blinx is an amazing game and we all deserve Blinx 3. No more buying out studios to make develop video games that would be cool in 2003.
