A Watchable Turn from The Last Man Hanged

The Last Man Hanged is a solid, engaging film. It may not be flawless, but it has a strong enough sense of purpose to keep me invested. It has flaws, certainly, but it also has enough charm or momentum to keep the experience from dragging too badly. Six stars. A fair watch with limitations. It sits in that middle ground where the flaws are obvious, but there is still enough craft, momentum, or curiosity to keep it from feeling like wasted time.
