Nice animation--the story itself made my brain hurt

Allan Steele apparently is a very talented artist--a guy who can do lovely computer graphics and who has a lot of creativity when it comes to characters. He probably also has a nice career ahead of him with his art. However, as far as stories go, BEAN WITH BACON SOUP is pretty much guaranteed to melt your brain with its talking garbage and all. The story just doesn't make sense--and I really don't think it was intended to. Instead, it looks more like a calling card for Mr. Steele--showing what he's capable of doing with graphics and his twisted imagination. In this regard, it's an exceptional film. Story-wise, it could use a bit of work--or I could use some drugs so that it all makes sense! If anyone sees this art and likes it, give Mr. Steele a job as he is talented...and you write him an interesting story.

A pickle who is second best to a warming light bulb at the Kings Table all you can eat lunch buffet is just along for the ride. During a short commercial break the friendship of two of Americas favorite lunch buddies blossoms. Finally this pointless journey ends as the trash buddies arrive at the Salisbury steak show.
