Irving and his crew were threatened by 'camera-shy' inmates during production. At one point he and his crew found themselves surrounded by scores of inmates during the officers shift change. Out inmate pulled out what appeared like a weapon. With no officers in sight, they made a hasty exit from the prisoners barracks.

Like I said, I don't know if chain gangs are going to work, but at least they're trying something. And as a taxpayer, I like the idea that they're at least trying something.
