Maurice (Ron Moody) has an antique shop, but owes lot of money to Adrian (Nick Stocker). and he's behind on the payments. his son Raymond is a copper, who goes to the psychiatrist a lot. not much happens for the first thirty minutes. all planning at the start. Stuart, who's already on probation, kidnaps Maurices' dogs, Chupa and Lulu. but, the dog-napers didn't do their homework, so it's all going wrong. i mentioned that Maurice's son is a cop.... it's a british dark, comedy caper. this one is pretty good. clever. it just slowly goes off the rails. showing on roku channel. it's mostly filmed in a light, sepia tone. Moody seems to be the big name here.. he was nominated for an oscar for Oliver. Tom Watt appears in the brit series EastEnders. why is this so unknown here in the states? maybe all the streaming channels looking for materials will get it more widely distributed. directed by Jim Doyle. Written by Tony MacNabb. had a couple things made into film.
