This is the Second PC game to use the word "Shit" uncensored in Space Quest 4 the first is in Space Quest 3 which usually goes unnoticed by most players. You can find the hidden Easter Egg by clicking the Buckzoid icon on the lower left room of the Sewer Lab, which shows a slideshow ending with credits which uses the word "Shit" uncensored. This would later be in Sierra PC games including Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers and Police Quest: Open Season which also uses the word "Shit" uncensored.

In the CD-Rom version of Space Quest IV, there is a point bell glitch which is unable to trigger in which Roger Wilco changes back into his space uniform. The player was supposed to get 3 points in order to get 315 out of 315. But due to this glitch in the game, the player will end up with 312 out of 315 points total. Unless the player gets the unstable ordinance and keeps it allowing the player to get 332 out of 315 points.
    • Quotes
      • Narrator: That was without a doubt, one of the finest examples of bunny snatching I've ever seen. The stress placed on the rope during the bunny snatching was too much. You cast the useless fibers aside.
    • Alternate versions
In the original floppy disk version of Space Quest 4, there is a store in the Galaxy Mall called "Radio Shock" that Roger Wilco goes shopping in. Radio Shack company took notice and sued the Sierra company for copyright infringement. Later on in the reissued CD version of Space Quest 4, the store "Radio Shock" has been replaced with "Hz.
