Strange, long, epic with very misleading marketing

First off, this movie does NOT depict erotic adventures of three underage sisters, despite the advertising focusing on that.

This IS an incredibly long epic depicting several winding tales of three young sisters. The stories are extended with dances, music and several side plots that don't go anywhere. Sexual themes are prominently featured including homosexuality, infidelity, promiscuity, voyeursim, shaming sexual assault victims and grown men lusting after minors.

The plot is a soap opera variation of "Little Women" with pieces of Chekov's "Three Sisters" too. It follows the three girls desperately seeking any escape from oppression by a brutal relative. Their options are very limited as they are all underage and still in school. Their only relief comes through the kindness of anyone who has power and ability. Most notably, the student body president from a wealthy family and their intellectual teacher genuinely seem to care about their well-being. Several others actively works against them. Everyone else just lets them suffer.

The film gets bogged down in stagnant side plots and long visual scenes which only generated fodder for the alluring trailers. The tragedies that fall on the sisters become increasingly disturbing and feel artificially contrived. As a result, there is no chance for any kind of satisfaction from the outcome.

The drama genre is a broad category that features stories portraying human experiences, emotions, conflicts, and relationships in a realistic and emotionally impactful way. Dramas delve into the complexities of human life, often exploring themes of love, loss, morality, societal issues, personal growth, with the aim to evoke an emotional response from the audience by presenting relatable and thought-provoking stories.
