If They Believed In The Curse, Why Didn't They Return The Gem?

Ah, the dreadful curse which makes everyone in the direct line die a violent death! Great-grandpa stole the gem from an idol in Mongolia, and ever since they've been dying like flies!

This is a short in the "Inscrutable Drew, Investigator" series. Unfortunately, at its length, it doesn't contain enough extraneous detail to confuse the audience, plus the detective has information which is not shared with the audience. Still, the sequence in which a madman approaches drunkenly and fights with everyone is well handled.

Mysteries are known for their suspenseful narratives, intricate plots, and the challenge they present to readers or viewers to piece together clues and solve the central mystery alongside the characters.
