Funniest documentary ever! Docs shouldn't be this entertaining! "HotRod" Joey Kemp returns to Demolition Derby after a five-year absence to regain his former championship title. Unfortunately five other local drivers want it just as bad.

Demolition derby. Old, abandoned cars stripped down to their bare elements. Driven for the last time into a pit and let loose until only one car is left. The last car running wins a trophy, cash, and boasting rights. The sport has really never caught on, but brilliance always seems to hide in simplicity. After all, who doesn't like watching cars get smashed up? 

In 1998, "HotRod" Joey Kemp entered the Lansdowne Fair Demolition Derby and won. It cost him a torn shoulder. The doctors told him he might not compete again. Fast-forward to 2003 hungry for his former title and thirsty for destruction, HotRod works his shoulder back into shape. The doctors give him the green light. HotRod is ready, but so are six other local drivers. From finding their Derby cars to preparing them for the showdown, we are there every step of the way. For most of these drivers winning comes second to smashing up a car. The excitement and tension builds as the derby day approaches. Will HotRod have his car ready in time? Who will be his greatest threat? Only one will emerge from their twisted wreck as champion.
