I'm a big fan of Britain's Children's Film Foundation films which peaked between the 1960s and 1970s, bringing their classic brand of adventure to many a Saturday morning cinema. HAND IN GLOVE feels like a creaky and dated early iteration of this brand, with a young gang of children battling some nefarious escaped prisoners who are hiding out in the local woods. Sadly, despite the era and the faint Enid Blyton feel to the shenanigans, this is a clunker in which the meandering plot (about kids doing chores for the bad guys) isn't enough to sustain even the brief half an hour running time.

Family-oriented content is designed to be enjoyed by both children and adults, often providing entertainment that is wholesome, relatable, and appropriate for all members of a family to watch or experience together.
