It has the gloss of a VCA production, but this self-reflexive look at the porn industry is extremely tame, and offers little to no insight into the Adult biz.

Asia Carrera is doing a hatchet job on porn star Nicky Eros, played by well-cast Nick Manning, for her TV producer Herschel Savage. Both have a negative opinion about Nicky, but by film's end Asia predictably softens and starts to see he isn't such a bad bloke after all.

I liked the somewhat heartfelt acting by Manning in the final reel, where his summation about his career and the hard work to reach the top rang true. But otherwise this is neither an expose nor a valentine to porn, just eavesdropping, as Asia's character does, sneaking on set to see him humping Katie Morgan for the cameras.

Monica Mayhem is hot in her scene, and Asia is well-matched with a tryst on a couch with her ex-lover Ava Vincent.
