No real actors here but then the direction is so 'who gives a damn' that it's hard to tell who may really be talented. The cast is attractive but all those musical numbers don't help at all. I see there is a sequel but I don't know if I'm going to hunt that down. Curiosity got me to try this out. The action is just too amateurish. I will say that the actors playing son and father have a bit of charisma and that might make me interested in seeing the conclusion of this little sad fable. No Robert Rodriguez potential at all here. There seems to be a niche market for these types of stories because I've seen other DVD's with similar themes.
