    • Trivia
When actress Lynda Carter accepted her award for "Superest Super Hero" an announcer (Joe Leahy) stated that an invisible plane was double parked and needed to be moved before it is towed. At this, Lynda went backstage and spun in a circle, with a Wonder Woman double suddenly appearing in her place. This event was the first and only time she had done it since the cancellation of her television series in 1979. No other actress ever stepped into the role until film director Zack Snyder hired Gal Gadot for the production of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) on December 4, 2013.
    • Quotes
      • Lynda Carter: Wow, I had a lot of competition... Girl Power! I want to thank TV Land first of all, and of course the fans... who voted for me! I was... I am very surprised, so thank you to the fans in particular. You know, "Wonder Woman" really changed my life; I played a superhero but in truth there are super heroes that are out there fighting fires and being policemen for us, and fighting in wars whether we agree with them or not! I've got the greatest guy in the world, we live in Washington DC now, and the two most interesting people that I know... I thank them from the bottom of my heart for putting up as "Wonder Woman" as a mother, Jessica and James. Again, I'm really honored to be thought of in this way tonight, I thank you so much.
