This series is a Good Introduction to physics

I remember watching this TV series in the 80s when it first came out. I thought it was a great way to encourage High School Seniors and Juniors to consider science and or engineering for college. I remember the historical scenes of great Scientist like Newton, Kepler, and others. It was a low budget production but definitely educational and enjoyable.

I was surprised that there was no follow up or some kind of second season. There were so many other topics the producer could have expanded on, but I guess the show didn't garner a large enough audience, educators or a following to justify a continuation.

Documentaries can cover a wide range of topics, including history, science, culture, social issues, nature, biographies, and more.
