This short was included in the Nickelodeon anthology series Oh Yeah! Cartoons, being also directed by Guy Vasilovich, better known as the creator of the Nelvana show Moville Mysteries.

In retrospect, Moville Mysteries always felt like a Nicktoon, mostly due its rather unusual art style, heavily reminiscent of the works made by Klasky Csupo.

While some might find such kind of aesthetic "ugly", I personally think the designs displayed here showed a lot of personality, in sharp contrast with most of modern animated series, which are extremely sanitized both in content and from a visual standpoint.

I really miss the times when stuff like Ren and Stimpy or Rocko's Modern Life could be seen by children without much controversy.

Sadly enough, it seems grotesque art styles are no longer appreciated by modern youth as in the 90s.
