I watched this when it was broadcast in '71, and almost 60 years later, one segment comes back to me often.

Jean-Claude Killy challenged Peggy Fleming, "Anything you can do on ice skates, I can do on skis." He proceeded to just that, wearing short skis. I'd love to see that again. It charmed me at that time, but it would be interesting to see how both athletes' skills and tricks compared to what world-class athletes do today. The sports have advanced and changed so much- would it stand the test of time?
