          Do Qaidi was the last time Amrish Puri would work with Govinda. Due to Govinda signing 45 films he would arrive late on the sets, if at all. Amrish puri was left waiting once and called Govinda "gandi naali ka keeda"(ant from sewer water). This offended Govinda who after 1988 never signed a film again with Puri. One version was that Amrish Puri slapped Govinda. Amrish Puri son denied this and stated these were just false stories.
