A sequel to this game was planned but later cancelled due to the publisher Swing Entertainment going out of business around that time during development, and Starbreeze Studios has since lost the rights to the Enclave IP.

Alternate versions
The German Original Xbox version had almost all blood effects removed. This was likely done to avoid a USK-18 rating. However subsequent future releases of this game such as PC and Wii versions and also the recent HD remaster on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One are all uncensored in Germany and are all also rated USK-16.
