Chitra and Ratheesh are happily married and settle down to matrimony. She spends her time among friends and shopping . On one such trip , She encounters Sukumaran who was her college mate . She had slapped him once in college for his ill manners . He has now come to stalk her at every given opportunity . Despite her trying to evade him and speaking sense to him that she is now married he keeps following her .

She confides in her husband . Ratheesh himself once encounters him and tries to fight him off but Sukumaran persists .

Fed up of him, Both go to the police station to file a case against him and are aghast to see that the inspector is Sukumaran himself .

He finally says that he is stalking her to find out about a past . She is a suspected killer of some one an year back. She keeps denying any involvement despite his interrogation

After much deliberation and twists her story comes out .

Chitra was waylaid by the victim one fine night after a party . When he tries to violate her , trying to run away , she manages to kill him in confusion .

Chitra finally confesses to this .

Sukumaran and his team let her go as it was in self defence .

A relieved Ratheesh and Chitra unite.

A fine movie . Chitra looks young and cute in her one of her early roles. Sukumaran and Ratheesh are fine actors and act with ease. Jagathy though in a comic role shows his acting skills very well. His voice quivering with fear when he sees a body in the cupboard needs special mention .

Over all a fine thriller.
