Hubert Webb filed a case to stop the distribution of the film. claiming the case is still pending. Two years later, the Philippine Supreme Court dismissed the case and allowed Viva Films to release the film. It found out that Hubert Webb was guilty of forum shopping as he filed the same case case before two different courts.
