This was a star studded event to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of ABC (American Broadcasting Company) TV Network. 1953 was given as the networks' starting year. though it is widely known that many of ABCs shows debuted much earlier than that. "The Lone Rnger"(1949), "The Stu Erwin Show'(1950) and "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" (1952) are just a few to fall into that category.
