The credits don't list a script writer. Because there's no script. There is a premise for a story but it is barely followed.

A group of three women travel to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands to film a naturist movie. Except they don't have a film or video camera. The closest they get is taking some stills of one of the women in the sand dunes. There's a second story of another woman who is doing an article on mermaids and seeks to get a picture of one.

Most of the first 10 minutes is basically a commercial for the Silverleigh nudist resort. The three are seen using various facilities of the resort without real dialogue. Then we get several minutes of them driving in their car down a straight street, again no dialogue. There are several other scenes of no importance to the story and without dialogue.

A mermaid does appear. The question is if she's real or imagined. Amanda who needs a picture of a mermaid for her article then never seems to have a camera with her even at the beach. I won't give any more away but not much happens. We do later get another short commercial for something else.

You would expect to see a lot of beach scenes since they traveled to Fuerteventura or at least I think they did. There is very little. I was there once to try the surfing (it's much better in Morocco!) and they missed an opportunity. We do get to see the women fully naked {Yawn!} a number of times.

The acting (no one was hired for those skills) was not as good as summer stock actors. The audio is horrendous. At times you can't understand what little dialogue. Bad room acoustics and only a mic on the camera I'm presuming. I would call this film amateurish but I've seen much better amateur films.
