Govinda was the original choice for the main role. Later, Emraan Hashmi was signed for the role. Much later, Jimmy Shergill stepped in.
After Govinda, Arjun Rampal was signed, but he left as he was busy with Pyar Ishq aur Mohabbat.
Juhi Chawla was signed for the lead role but opted out.
The song "zamaane mein sabhii ko milte hain gham tum na ghabrana" is a ditto copy of
the old song "Huyii yeh humse naadaanii terii mehfil mein aa baithhe" from Chor
Bazaar.
When Juhi Chawla was doing the film it was titled "Apne Dil Se Poocho".
