Both characters were created by
Mars Ravelo, but they did not appear together in one comic series. The crossover was just on this movie. The individual stories of Darna and Isputnik were serialized in different Filipino comics magazines under Ace Publications -Darna in Pilipino Komiks and Isputnik in Holiday Komiks.
