Sachiko's discipline is the audience's pain

Surrealist nonsense is difficult to decipher even with subtitles (or perhaps not so difficult and it's just as it appears) as harassed high school student Sachiko endures repeated sexual assault by teachers, family, friends and a magician whose depraved artifice is to get Sachiko to strip nude then rear up behind her as 'son of kangaroo' and repeatedly thrust her across the stage in front of an appreciative crowd (look no hands).

Absurdist humour pushes the boundaries as you'd expect, from the outset the acting is way over the top putting the viewer on notice as to its intentions, although that's unlikely to make it any more palatable to the average punter as the situations become increasingly more uncomfortable to bear.

The Jekyll & Hyde experiment performed by one of the teachers is mildly amusing (and at least makes some sense in its fantasy) but the physical violations are just too frequent to be funny, rapidly deteriorating into base and repetitive farce of little entertainment value.

Nikkatsu produced a lot of weird and sometimes wonderful cultural exhibits and this loosely plotted frolicking fornication farce at least fulfills the 'weird' quotient.
