Trivia
The Urban and Creepy Theming objects for scenery in the form of buildings and said style of trees that while outside a park's boundaries in some scenarios would not be available for the players to build in their scenarios until the Loopy Landscapes expansion pack.

Goofs
The 3D Cinema ride/attraction's capacity states that it holds up to 30 guests, but could only technically hold up to 8 guests before declaring it full before showing a film. This is fixed up in the Corkscrew Follies/Added Attractions expansion pack.

Alternate versions
The original 1999 release of this game RollerCoaster Tycoon game has the following features not present in the 2017 RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic.
The opening menu features the original music theme.
The Menu interface is located in the top part of the screen.
The Merry-go-round ride is the only ride that has music which features classical music.
The Handyman workers has 4 jobs check listed by default including picking up litter, sweeping paths, watering gardens and mowing lawns though mowing the lawn serves no purpose in the game.
There is no fast forward button feature in this game, so players be prepared to find other hobbies to do while waiting for the park year scenario to end.
There's a shovel lawn glitch that allows the player to simply click on the lawn with the shovel which will remove the tall grass.
