Despite the ungainly title, and adjacent subject matter that follows hot on the heels of 'Deep Throat' (1972), this is a reasonably sincere if somewhat slow-moving drama concerning the eponymous character, a young housewife whose dissatisfaction with her love life dominates her consciousness to the extent that it makes her anxious and feeling unfulfilled. Not content to simply accept the status quo nor get a hobby, she confides in and accepts the help of a friend who's apparently knowledgeable in such topics to try and break the spell.

Sometimes feels like an adult instructional film or PSA, whilst the performances aren't totally convincing, and the dialogue a little crude and mechanical, the sentiments are expressed with tact and sympathy.

There's a couple of abstract fantasy scenes which could've been jettisoned to improve the pace, and it wasn't as engaging as Anthony Spinelli's similarly themed (at its core) 'Strangers' (1972) notwithstanding it's a decent low-key, plot-driven time filler that should meet modest expectations.
