Familiar cautionary tale follows a foolish high school student (Kevin Tighe) as he's groomed and seduced into the sordid world of drugs by an unscrupulous dealer (Gerald Leroy), predictably leading to addiction and eventual ruin.

Narrated with that air of moral superiority that was so effective in discouraging risky behaviour with poseur lines like 'shake this square's world and blast off for kicksville', it's corny and crude but still mildly entertaining featurette. Whilst it's made without location based sound or dialogue, Tighe is reasonably effective in his second screen appearance as the naive athlete whose grades are slipping, and Julie Conners ('Count Yorga, Vampire' 1970) has a juicy role co-starring as a desperate junkie stereotype in her film debut.

Sufficiently entertaining for a half hour investment, similar to 'Alice in Acidland' (1969) and a useful precursor to harder hitting dramatic tales like 'The Hard Road' (1970) and 'Go Ask Alice' (1973) etc.
