Standard kidnapping for ransom plot takes on a ultra-violent complexion when the trio of amateur extortionists decide to viciously violate their abductee, and the victim's friend sets out to locate her hopefully before the thugs get too carried away.

Like 'Night of the Animals' (1972), 'The Ravager' (1970), 'The Zodiac Killer' (1971) and others of the ilk, this Jack Genero adult crime thriller fits into the rough but soft middle of the road style which I generally find a little easier to digest (it also typically improves the pace), the acting isn't bad all things considered and technically it's competent (in context) with clear sound, lighting and camerawork, but moreover it succeeds mainly due to its plot which is taut and tense.

On par technically with 'Kitty's Pleasure Palace' and 'Ensenada Hole' (with which this film was released by Alpha Blue) with a soundtrack partially lifted from 'Planet of the Apes', it contains plenty of fluent action set-ups and an intense, gruesome climax that doesn't disappoint. Definitely one of Genero's best efforts (if not arguably his best) in my opinion.
