This is one of the very best episodes of any programme we've watched. So says a lot. We both love, especially in this day and age with police only doing what local politicians want, vigilantism. This is the epitome of this episode.

I have to add the script is top notch and it takes a bit of effort to work out how to get rapport between the vigilante and Jane. They do it here.

Other future programmes even borrow from this episode of Halifax, even down to the background music where the programme "Green Arrow" second season and the programme "Person of Interest" is also partly about a vigilanti

The end is nail biting.
