Bill Farmer credited as playing...
- Max Goof: [while helping Goofy decorate] Dad, I'm freezing my tinsel off!
- Goofy: Don't worry, Max. Almost done.
- Max Goof: That's what you said an hour ago.
- Max Goof: Uh, let's not overdo it this time, Dad. What do you say?
- Goofy: Shucks, this is the perfect time of year to overdo it!
- Goofy: Hmm. Well, there is somethin' Max and me used to do to get in the holiday spirit.
- Max Goof: No, Dad! Not the Reindeer dance!
- [Pete and Goofy run out of the kitchen]
- Pete: [flipped out] There's a bear in there!
- Goofy: Don't worry. As soon as he eats all the food, he'll go away.
- Pete: Oh, good.
- [pause]
- Pete: [whimpering] ALL the food?
- Goofy: What's the matter, grumpy gus?
- Max Goof: Ah, Dad, every year, we do the same thing, right? Put up a ton of stuff and burn the turkey.
- Goofy: Yep, just like the good old days, like when you invented the Reindeer Dance, remember?
- Max Goof: I was 5 years old, okay? Legally stupid!
- [Pete is about to go to sleep, but soon hears someone singing outside]
- Goofy: [singing] Weee wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you a merry Christmas. We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
- Pete: Whoever that is, I'm gonna teach him the meaning of Silent Night.
- [opens his window]
- Pete: Hey, you! Shut up! This ain't no Osmond Special!
- [after performing the Reindeer Dance, Goofy, Max, Pete's family, and the bear gather around a fire with the families singing Silent Night]
- Goofy: Merry Christmas, Max.
- Max Goof: You too, Dad.
- [everyone is distracted when Goofy, and a reluctant Max, perform the Reindeer Dance and the pressure cooker explodes, damaging the cabin and splattering cranberry all over the room]
- Pete: [furious] Listen, you cabin-crunchin', carol-croonin', Kris Kringle-crushin' jingle bell! I've had it with your dumb decorations and your stupid dances, SEE?
- Goofy: Gawrsh.
- Pete: Now you've finally done it! You've ruined Christmas for everyone! EVEN YOUR OWN DUMB KID!
- Goofy: Really, Max?
- [Max sadly remains silent]
- Goofy: [greatly hurt] Sorta stuffy in here. Think I'll go get some fresh air. Don't wait up.
- [taking Waffles with him, a heartbroken Goofy steps out into the blizzard]
- Max Goof: You okay, Dad?
- Goofy: No. It's getting harder and harder to make Christmas special for you, Max.
- Max Goof: Like when I was a kid, huh?
- Goofy: Exactly.
- Max Goof: Well, I'm growing up, Dad. But I still love Christmas and I still love you.
