A fishing boat heads back to Vancouver. Just before Christmas. The captain wants to spend the holiday with his wife; his regular crew member wants to spend it among friends. The youngster of the three wants to get back to his pregnant girlfriend. On the journey home, they pick up an injured boy to take to the hospital. Then a storm comes up.
