Apparently the Royal Canadian Air Force has -- or as of 1980 had -- an aerobatics team called "Snowbirds", and we get to see them take off from a carrier and fly about in close formation in this very short film from the National Film Board of Canada.

Good for them. I wasn't expecting jet fighters when I saw the title. For people like me, snowbirds are the folks who escape the wintry north -- and that includes New York -- for the warmth of Florida in the winter.
