The Little Mermaid

From the second wave of Golden Films "animated classics" productions, this is the only one of the seven titles that has the words "The End" written at the end of the film.

The name of fairy tale author, Hans Christian Andersen is spelled incorrectly at the beginning of the film as "Anderson".

When the film was originally released by Trimark Pictures on May 25th, 1992, the film opened crediting the American Film Investment Corporation, the production company for the film. In subsequent releases, its successor company Golden Films and new distributor GoodTimes Entertainment were credited instead. For the DVD release in 2002, the "Children's Classics" opening from Jetlag Productions' animated releases was attached to the film.
