I don't care about Caesaria or this film....

I noticed that another reviewer really liked this short film. Well, I thought it was god-awful. It consists of some rather ear-piercing music playing very repetitively as the female narrator drones on and on about the ancient city of Caeseria and its destruction. During all of this, various statues you can see around Paris are shown--though they seem to have nothing to do with this city. It seriously seems like the filmmakers deliberately made the film as dull as possible.

While I adore French films and have seen hundreds, this artsy short is the sort of thing that might make people think all French films are pretentious and dull--which is far from true.

I honestly would love to hear from you to know what you think--is it as marvelous as the other reviewer thought or as awful as I thought?
