    • Trivia
The film was originally titled "Three Argentines in Paris," but state authorities banned it, arguing that the cheating card game damaged the country's image abroad. The production company Lumiton appealed the ruling and successfully overturned it with a change of title, which became "Three Anchored in Paris." The ban had a huge publicity effect, sparking public interest, in turn generating a huge success and becoming one of the great classics.
