It's gone live and I've got to say something before it's too late. I'm not here on behalf of anything but to clear the record and to advocate for a dear friend that cannot advocate for himself any longer. To state that "Lex The Wonder Dog" is a masterpiece is an understatement on a colossal scale. This film is a monument to the creative potential of the human mind and the impact of the silver screen on a young soul. Ling captures the delightful vision of the world that only a child can have. I rented this from a dilapidated video store back in my early 20's for a date night, having no idea I would bawl my eyes out multiple times during the viewing. The film is not sad, but capturing true innocence in a canister is not something that is easy to do. It is shame that our children are not given the keys to the kingdom more frequently. Our vile world needed more from this revolutionary auteur. The ever-enchanting Lord Sidney Ling created what should be referred to as Bloom Cinema. No one should consider forgiving Zabalza for destroying what could have been the career of the new master of the form. It is hard to find copies of Wonder Dog, I'll admit it. But seek and ye shall find. A dear friend has asked me to leave this here for anyone to find who cares to. Find Lex, Wonder Dog if you want to see a true revolutionary's work.
