Alabaster skinned beauty Darby Lloyd Rains stars as a cruel dominatrix who mistreats her willingly subservient housemistress 'Roberta' (Barbara Carson) forcing compliance with her demands which includes greeting her 'guests', Annie Sprinkle taking plenty of intense leather punishment, and Alan Marlow playing her well-meaning little brother whose visit causes tension between the pair.

Rains is especially good (reasonably intense at times) pounding her fist and shouting obscenities as she exercises her control, and whilst her role (and adult film career) is brief, Melva Jackson gives a good performance as a temporary diversion for Marlow's character soon after he arrives in the big apple.

But whilst the acting is decent, the plot unfortunately doesn't reach its full potential. Begins with purpose but loses its way by the third act, the tension created with the shifting character dynamics is frittered away with barely any consequence to show for the conflict.

I guess if you consider it as a low key dysfunctional relationship drama it sort of works sufficiently to modestly entertain, but it's not the rough, sordid, twisted tale it could've easily been.
