You go into this movie knowing the plot will be weak, but it is hard to imagine how downright strange it will be. The story opens with a woman, Alice, mourning her dear friend Rosie, who was brutally assulted and murdered. To help her get over it, her husband Robert hires a medium, Jeannie. They also have very erotic sex. You might think it would be hard to get aroused after hearing the awful details of a young woman's violent death but they go for it.

Jeannie sets up a seance to contact Rosie. As it goes along, several other friends join in. It is all rather weird and not at all consistent. Jeannie's "visions" are not just channeling the subject but actually create fantasy locations with them. Sometimes the group watches and other times they enter the vision. It's really just an excuse to have a series of disconnected sex scenes in completely different settings.

The title sequence is a montage of all the sex scenes of the movie, so you know exactly what you will see even before the film even gets going. The weird theme song sounds like session musicians made it up on the spot. The only other odd point to note is that the star, Alice, is fun to watch but oddly has different shoes or socks in each of her full-frontal nude scenes. Barbara puts in real effort and energy but overall the movie is mostly forgettable.

Jeannie is a medium who creates very realistic visions that let people connect with loved ones, both past and present.
