In the film's climax, when Gener (Elmer Palicpic) assaults Helen from behind after she realizes that the children received lollipops from him, "The Murder" theme from Psycho (1960) plays. The same theme repeats itself in a dream sequence where Joel Torre's character Ronald Arandia fights Gener. Despite the scenarios, the score remained uncredited in the end credits.
