The very fun, TV sitcom style movie, Stranger than Fiction, gets more than a few things right, including what definitely does NOT go on a pizza.

Four friends land themselves in one diabolical pickle after another, together having to devise numerous schemes to cover their tracks. The pace is slick and the script accompanies their tricky situations well. Jared kicks things off passing on the interesting news that he needs help getting rid of a dead guy who is lying flat on his face naked in his apartment. Of course they don't hesitate to aid their friend's unfortunate turn of events and from there the story becomes an entertaining ride. A few twists and turns along the way makes for an entertaining, if not exactly believable sequence of scenarios and I found myself not actually looking at the run time because I was bored, but because I kind of didn't want it to end. All four lead characters are good and my favorite is Violet, who dishes up some hilarious situational comedy.

It may not be the flashiest, or an expensive budget, but Stranger than Fiction is ideal for a light-hearted, quirky, not overly violent comedy thriller.
