Was initially restricted by the New Zealand Office of Film & Literature Classification to adults over 18 because of what the Office considered "conspicuous and substantial" drinking of alcohol without showing the consequences, and also for a scene where some characters throw a barbecue's gas bottle onto a fire and watch it explode. The film's distributors appealed to the Film & Literature Board of Review, and the rating was subsequently reduced to R15. Producer
