Thomas Gomez narrates this mixed live-animation short movie from Walter Lantz' studio driving home the necessity for sterile techniques in hospitals; surgeons need to scrub their hands for ten full minutes before entering the operating theater, lest the evil little streptococcus germs infect a patient.

It was produced for.the US Navy, which is why, at the end, we see a sailor walk out of the hospital with a cane. But it was meant for the medical staff of the navy, meant to terrify them into making sure that they obeyed the regulations. Mel Blanc vioices the germs, and while the voices are based on his Bugs Bunny voice, they are deeper, and more churlish. The background art by Nino Carbe and Howard Dunn are imposing and threatening, and the character design intentionally disgusting.
