"A la Manière De Sherlock Holmes " is a dreadful hotchpotch of incompetent acting (the actress "playing " Loulou/Charlotte takes the biscuit),writing and filming.Rouen ,where it was filmed on location ,seems ugly.Gangsters,gangsters' molls ,femme fatale,false Chinese,pawn-brokers,dumb and smart cops get mixed in a stodgy brew.
