The French version, which wasn't released until 1973, only credits Jacqueline Audry as a director and lists Renzo Cerrato as an assistant director. The discrepancy is likely due to the need to represent this co-production as a predominantly Italian or French movie in each respective country in order to take advantage of local tax incentives. However, it's likely that the film was directed solely by Audry.
