Manuscripts and memories, Gordon's dilemma

Screwball adult comedy in which Keith Erickson plays Gordon, a timid, struggling screenwriter whose separation from his adulterous wife prompts him to expand his romantic horizons and in doing so, ignites a new creative spark for his screenplays.

Erickson literally 'phones it in as he watches everyone else getting it on, his love life flatlining but his manuscripts have apparently never read better. Threadbare plot sets up Gordon as a browbeaten wordsmith who just needs the right inspiration and encouragement to rise to the occasion, but the punchline doesn't really deliver the goods.

Co-stars buff Rick Cassidy, Suzanne Fields, Starlyn Simone and George Peters pairing off in the strip poker game, and the alluring Carmen Olivera as the exotic dancer Erickson meets in Mexico, it's an ultra mild, micro budgeted marriage comedy that's as cheap and cheerful as they come.
