Rik Taznier directs and co-stars as a local ski resort pimp who offers petty grifters Ken Scudder and John Seeman a pile of cash if they can deliver a group of wealthy women holidaying for the weekend.

Like Taznier's contemporary chiller thriller 'The Winter of 1849', this frosty hardcore hustle heats up with Taznier's character, this time he arrives in the second act and throws an unexpected twist into the plot, turning what was looking like a mild snow comedy into a more interesting crime caper which looks a lot more impressive thanks to the scenery.

Whilst it's similarly snow-capped and bitterly cold looking, unlike 'Winter of 1849' there's not the same tension that was present in the first half of that movie, instead Taznier fashions a fairly coherent and engaging black comedy of sorts that ends with a crafty, satisfying surprise. Simple but effective and worth a look.
