Toni English (a/k/a Kelly Holland) bit off more than she could chew with this poorly made peek at street hustlers in an atypical Vivid Video release that is hard to swallow (to continue my food metaphor). With a topnotch cast wasted, it's an embarrassing failure.

A problem in evaluating the movie is that like many Vivid VHS features, its DVD reissue was cut to ribbons, evidently truncating both sex and story scenes to remove over 20% of the original running time. But what remains is problematic.

Basically, all the characters, male and female, are hustlers, with prostitution the overriding theme. Our heroes and heroines accidentally get mixed up with gangsters, but Toni English's screenplay conveniently downplays the expected violence and concentrates on sex. In fact, the 70-minute-long DVD manages to present nine sex scenes.

Stars Devon, Chloe, Bobby Vitale and Ian Daniels all work as prostitutes and gigolos, but not as high-class escorts but rather as street hookers. Clearly, this is a porn feature where English is quite condescending to her brethren in the world of sex workers who barely eke out an existence, so watching the movie we're painfully aware of our "superstars" overacting as they portray the dregs of society who are in the same business as they are, but without the glamour or big bucks and fan clubs.

Best scenes are the gigolo encounters, where Vitale picks up stunning Azlea in a bar and steals her money after servicing her; as well as a silly but very hot scene of Daniels robbing ultra-busty MILF Candy Vegas's home, and then getting to have sex with her at gunpoint (she's the one with the gun!). Comically, she pays him and arranges for regular future visits by him.

Condoms are used throughout and five of the femme stars have anal sex in this one. What the VHS-era audience made of the result is unknown to me, but it comes off as utterly fake viewed three decades later.
