Sharon Kane is most convincing as a London lady running a home for wayward girls, and a bordello on the side where she makes them prostitute themselves. It's softcore bondage action with more style than usual, and an effective script by Ernest Greene.

Flame, that dimuntive redhead who's a dynamo in hardcore porn features, is well-cast as the young damsel in distress Prudence, sent to Kane's reformatory by her uncle who caught her with a boy in what he interpreted as unsuitable "compromising position". She becomes roommate to an attractive older girl Felicia, played by Dallas Sherry, and each is dutifully chained up to the wall above their beds at night by Kane's pretty maid Mercedes.

Kane enjoys meting out plenty of punishment to her girls, and all three of the actresses are featured nude being spanked, fondled, whipped and flogged, plus a taste of the riding crop. Sharon seems to give them genuine affection too, in the form of kisses.

Prudence's prowess in the bordello (with male customers) is mentioned but kept entirely off-screen, as the story doesn't develop much, remaining static, the bane of nearly all these bondage tales. I enjoyed the ending when Kane inevitably gets her comeuppance, corny but satisfying.

Period costumes and decent acting lift this above the low bar of a bondage/fetish exercise.
