Anthony Fortunado stars as a decorated retired marine hired by a former joint chief of staff to assassinate members of a sadistic mafia syndicate which has beaten his son and sexually assaulted his son's girlfriend as retribution for unpaid debts.

Grindhouse mob grit at its filthiest overflows with softcore sleaze and in an effort to push the envelope that little bit further, the presence of superfluous hardcore inserts shoehorned in to pad out the runtime leaving the pulse racing but the plot standing still (these look like they were filmed separately or by a second unit).

Technically it's competent utilising a range of locations and sets suggesting an ample budget, but where similar, contemporary grindhouse mob films like 'Family Honour' (1973) earned praise for its realistic performances and sombre prevailing mood, 'Love, Lust & Violence' only delivers two out of the three promises in its title falling short on emotion and fluency in the action sequences. Aside from an early scene of intense sexual violence which is uncomfortable to watch, the subsequent shootouts (of which there are numerous), physical struggles and other miscellaneous on-screen violence depicted lack effort or imagination in their execution.

Showed promise in the first fifteen minutes, but it was all down hill from that point onwards.
